The LapBand gives new hope to those that have weight gain after bypass surgery!
Recently a team of LapBand experts have placed the LapBand over a previously failed weightloss surgery with very good results.
The objective is to place the LapBand around the highest part of the stomach and restrict the ability to overeat. Patients regain early satiety and fulness after eating which in turn results in weightloss.
This procedure is technically challenging and not all patients are candidates. |

You may be a candidate if you have previous weightloss surgery (Gastric ByPass, Vertical Banded Gastroplasty) and the following:
- Loss of early satiety, ability to eat more and less restriction.
- Weight gain after initial weightloss.
- Unsatisfactory weightloss after initial surgery.
